It Takes Two Sabet Game of the Year di The Game Awards 2021
Menyebut TGA alias The Game Awards sebagai penghargaan game paling bergengsi di sepanjang tahun sepertinya tidak berlebihan. Dengan format acara yang tidak hanya berisikan penghargaan saja, tetapi juga dikombinasikan dengan beragam pengumuman game-game perdana dengan beberapa di antaranya bahkan berhasil dirahasiakan dengan baik, membuatnya jadi fokus gamer di tanggal 10 Desember 2021 pagi ini. Acara yang berlangsung selama setidaknya 4 jam ini akhirnya datang dengan pemenang definitif di setiap kategori yang ada.
Dengan persaingan yang cukup ketat di kategori utama – Game of the Year, siapa yang akan berujung memenangkan kategori ini memang sulit untuk ditebak. Banyak yang memprediksi Deathloop karena nilai review dari beragam situs besar yang begitu tinggi. Namun ternyata oh ternyata, justru game multiplayer kooperatif racikan Josef Fares dan Hazelight yang berhasil tampil di puncak. Benar sekali, It Takes Two berhasil menyabet penghargaan sebagai GOTY untuk The Game Awards 2021 kali ini!
