Menjadi salah satu kiblat industri game mengingat begitu banyaknya pelaku yang besar di sana, baik publisher, developer dan media, memang selalu menarik tren apa yang menghiasi pasar Jepang setiap tahunnya. Karena harus diakui, tidak sedikit kasus dimana game-game yang berhasil tampil manis di pasar luar dan berujung dipuja-puji ternyata tak menemukan ruang sama sekali di Jepang, baik dari perhatian dari gamer ataupun sekadar dari angka penjualan yang ditorehkan. Lantas, game-game apa saja yang berhasil mencuri perhatian gamer Jepang tahun lalu? Data tersebut akhrinya tersedia.

Data tersebut akhirnya dilepas oleh media gaming Jepang ternama – Famitsu yang mengumpulkannya dari tanggal 27 Desember 2021 – 25 Desember 2022 kemarin. Game-game yang dirilis dalam bentuk multiplatform dilepas dalam posisi yang berbeda, termasuk game-game yang dilepas atau tanpa expansion pack. Data ini juga melibatkan penjualan via kartu download di toko-toko, namun tidak menghitung data penjualan digital. Yang tak lagi mengejutkan?
